This Privacy Policy describes how Adam Zerella (ABN 30 654 613 086) (“Interop”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information for all Interop products and services (the “Services”).

We do not intentionally collect health information unless expressly agreed in writing. Where health information is processed, it is handled in accordance with the higher protections required under the Privacy Act.

We share personal information with service providers that help us operate the Services, such as cloud hosting, DNS, and security providers. These providers may provide security services and analytics and may inject JavaScript on our pages for performance or security purposes.

We may also disclose information to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or as part of a corporate transaction.

6. Overseas disclosure

We store data on cloud infrastructure in Australian regions. Some service providers may process or route data through other regions for DNS, security, or performance purposes. Before disclosing personal information to an overseas recipient, we take reasonable steps as required under APP 8 to ensure overseas recipients do not breach the Australian Privacy Principles or are subject to a substantially similar privacy regime.

7. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including access controls and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Where feasible, we will delete or de-identify data when it is no longer needed. If you want specific retention periods, contact us at legal@interop.au and we will align them with your requirements.

9. Your rights under the Privacy Act

Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), you have the right to request access to your personal information and to request correction of any inaccurate, out-of-date, incomplete, or misleading information. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
